Cristelle Full Kit + Signature Arcana Revealed — Sun Ranger / Burn & Chain DMG DPS
Cristelle’s full kit and signature Arcana details are out.
Here’s a condensed breakdown of what she actually does, followed by some early observations.
Cristelle — Sun / Ranger
Role: Debuff DPS specializing in Burn + Chain DMG
Cristelle revolves around building Ignition, applying Burn, stacking debuffs on enemies, and converting those debuffs into additional Chain DMG.
Unique Passive — Festering Resentment
Starts the first battle with 3 Ignition
Gains 1 Ignition whenever another ally uses a Special Skill or Ultimate
Gains 1 additional Ignition if that ally is Sun
When using her Basic Attack against a debuffed enemy:
100% chance to deal Chain DMG
Chain DMG scales with ATK
Number of Chain DMG instances depends on the enemy’s debuffs, up to 5
Fills her Action Gauge by up to 30%
Passive level-up bonus gives up to +15% ATK
The important part here is that Cristelle benefits from multiple debuffs, not specifically multiple Burns.
Basic Attack — Vengeance and Retribution
Attacks one enemy and grants Cristelle:
1 stack of Ignition
The attack itself is straightforward. Her passive is what makes it important, since using it against a debuffed target triggers her Chain DMG.
Special Skill — Seething Vengeance
Becomes usable when Cristelle reaches maximum Ignition after another ally attacks.
When activated:
Grants Drive for Revenge for 3 turns
Drive for Revenge increases ATK and Effect Hit by 25%
Up to 100% chance to inflict 2 stacks of Burn on all enemies for 2 turns
Fills Cristelle’s Action Gauge by up to 50%
Grants 2 Ignition to all other Sun allies
Removes all Ignition from Cristelle
Lv.6 adds additional cooldown reduction
This appears to be the centerpiece of her rotation.
Ultimate — Nightmare Unleashed
Attacks one enemy and:
100% chance to increase the target’s Burn duration by 1 turn
Deals Chain DMG proportional to Cristelle’s ATK for each debuff on the enemy
Up to 5 Chain DMG instances
Fills her Action Gauge by 30%
Lv.6 adds additional cooldown reduction
Again, the important wording is each debuff, rather than each Burn stack.
How Her Rotation Looks
On paper:
Allies use skills → Cristelle gains Ignition → max Ignition → Seething Vengeance → Burn/debuff setup → Chain DMG → Action Gauge gain
Sun allies should accelerate her Ignition generation because their Special Skill/Ultimate gives her an additional stack.
However, her Chain DMG mechanic appears less restrictive. Other debuffs on the target can contribute toward her Chain DMG instances.
That could make other debuff-heavy characters interesting partners for her.

Early Take
Cristelle looks more interesting than simply being a Burn DPS.
Burn is clearly a major part of her kit, but what stands out to me is the repeated interaction between debuff count and Chain DMG.
If teammates can load multiple useful debuffs onto a target, Cristelle may be able to reach her maximum Chain DMG instances without supplying every debuff herself.
Her Action Gauge gains also look significant on paper:
Basic/passive: up to 30%
Special: up to 50%
Ultimate: 30%
That could make her rotation pretty aggressive once she gets going.
I wouldn’t call her a must-pull yet. We still need actual testing, damage numbers, stats, and team interactions.
What teams are you guys thinking about running with her?
🔥 SPECIAL HIGHLIGHT — 2 NEW SAVIORS REVEALED
Two completely new Saviors were revealed in the roadmap, and both have some pretty interesting mechanics.
🔥 Cristelle — Sun / Ranger
Coming August 20
Featured in Metabasis of Ashen Embers with Haydee.
Cristelle is the President of Morrel Ocean Traders and uses a forbidden power.
Combat Style: Burn / Chain DMG DPS
Unlike a traditional DPS who mainly tries to unload as much damage as possible immediately, Cristelle is specifically described as a debuff-focused damage dealer.
Her gameplay revolves around:
Apply Burn → build damage over time → use Burn to trigger Chain DMG
The developers specifically describe her as taking a more gradual approach to dealing damage, so she may be particularly interesting for longer fights where Burn can be maintained and exploited.
What we know:
☀️ Sun Attribute
🏹 Ranger
🔥 Applies** Burn
⛓️** Uses Burn to deal Chain DM**G
📈 Designed around gradually building damage
🎟️ Featured Observation begins with the August 20 event
If you’ve been wanting a more dedicated Burn/DoT-oriented DPS, Cristelle is definitely one to watch.
🌌 Amora — Order / Assassin
Coming September 3 with Main Story Episode 7: The Witch’s Veil
This one may be even more interesting.
Amora is a mysterious Savior encountered by Luna, Smile and Omega while they search Raven Wall for the missing Captain and Asherah.
And she is confirmed to be a:
COSMIC SAVIOR
Her combat identity is almost the opposite of a debuff-dependent character.
Combat Style: Cleanse → Debuff-Free → Burst Damage
Under certain conditions, Amora can remove her own debuffs, and when she has NO debuffs affecting her, she can unleash extremely high burst damage.
So her gameplay appears to revolve around maintaining a clean status:
Get debuffed → cleanse herself → reach zero debuffs → BURST
What we know:
⚪ Order Attribute
🗡️ Assassin
🌌 Cosmic Savior
🧹 Can remove her own debuffs under certain conditions
💥 Deals explosive burst damage while she has no debuffs
🎬 Dedicated Toughness Break animation
And then there’s the elephant in the room…
She looks VERY familiar. 👀
The developers deliberately called attention to her resemblance to someone we already know and said they’ll leave the truth of her identity for us to discover in Episode 7.
So they’re very clearly teasing something here.
⚔️** Completely different DPS philosophies
Cristelle
🔥 Burn
→ DoT / buildup
→ Chain DMG
→ sustained damage
Amora
🧹 Remove debuffs
→ maintain clean status
→ explosive burst damage
→ Assassin playstyle
Neither looks like another generic “ATK Up → hit harder” DPS.
Cristelle arrives August 20.
Amora arrives September 3.
Start planning those Stellagems accordingly. 💀
80 Pulls, 0 SSRs on Waltz Asherah Banner — Feeling Violated 💀
Title: 80 pulls on Waltz Asherah banner. Not a single SSR 💀
Just did 80 pulls on the Waltz Asherah banner.
Not one SSR.
Not Waltz Asherah.
Not an off-banner SSR.
Literally zero SSRs in 80 pulls.
I finally had to use pity just to get ONE copy of Waltz Asherah.
I know RNG is RNG, but damn. 😂
After watching 80 pulls disappear with absolutely nothing to show for it and then having to cash in pity for a single copy, I’m feeling violated.
Anyone else getting absolutely destroyed by this banner, or did I just win the reverse lottery?
Has anyone else noticed way more training failures after the latest update?
Has anyone else been experiencing a noticeably higher training failure rate since the latest update?
In one Hard Journey run, I failed twice at only 6% failure chance, then also failed at around 16–18%. Later in the same run, when the displayed failure rate was around 37–48%, I failed roughly 8 out of 10 attempts.
I know RNG is RNG and one bad run isn’t enough to prove the rates changed, but this felt significantly worse than my Journey runs before the update. I’ve been doing quite a lot of Hard Journey runs recently, so the difference really stood out to me.
Has anyone else noticed the same thing since the update? I’m curious whether this is just an unusually bad RNG streak or if other players are seeing more failures than expected too.
