Hey MJ fans!!,

I have a school assignment where I need to present songs to my class, and I already know I want to choose Michael Jackson for one of the categories. I wanted to ask what MJ song you guys think would be best to present to a class full of teenagers.

I’m open to literally any kind of suggestion — songs that are meaningful, emotional, powerful lyrically, vocally impressive, socially impactful, underrated, or just songs that really show how talented/artistic he was beyond the biggest hits.

Right now I’ve thought about songs like Man in the Mirror, Money, Earth Song, Tabloid Junkie , etc. but I’d love other opinions too.

I have a school assignment where I need to share songs with my class, and one category is a song by someone from the BIPOC community. I already know I wanna pick Mariah Carey because I feel like people at school only know her as “the Christmas lady” when she literally has one of the best discographies ever.

I wanted to ask what Mariah song you guys think would be best to show a class full of teenagers to prove she has REAL bangers/vocals/writing. It can be:
- emotional
- vocally impressive
- underrated
- meaningful/social commentary
- or just a genuinely amazing song that would shock people who only know AIWFCIY

Right now I’m considering songs like Outside, Fly Like a Bird, Make it happen , Underneath the Stars, etc. but I wanna hear your opinions 👀
