Dual chamber headlights problem

I changed the headlights on my golf 3 from single chamber to the dual chamber ones. I have bought aftermarket TYC ones. Now when i turn on the high beams the low beams turn off. How can i fix the problem?

My Mk3 Movie edition

I started restoring this 1996 golf 3 in movie edition trim. Give me some ideas for mods. My goal is OEM+ style. Next i am planning on repainting these Remotec type B rims in alloy silver.
