Moving to a new house and I need to buy a washer and dryer for 1200-1500 USD, and another large fridge for 1500 USD. My main concern is the washer and dryer since the only place they'll be in same the hallway with the bedrooms so it would be nice if they were quiet. I was thinking about going to one of those "scratch & dent" stores to save some money unless anyone has a good reason why not to. I'm wondering what brands I should be scouting for but i've been looking at electrolux since my local laundromat has them and they seemed to work great in my experience, very quick compared to my near 20 year old washer/dryer.
