Kumquat tree in zone 7b?

Kumquat tree in zone 7b?

Impulse bought this gorgeous kumquat. Plan on keeping her outdoors for the summer and indoors when temperatures start to fall. Too ambitious?

My new baby

I couldn’t help myself 😭 Newest addition - an already blooming peanut cactus (feels like cheating lol). Should I repot it right away or wait until it’s done blooming?

Beginner gardener attempt

My first time planting flowers - advice is welcomed and appreciated!!

Current setup:
1 Peach Melba climbing rose
2 Astilbe
2 Geum
2 Columbine
5 Fuchsia
1 garden supervisor who contributes nothing except chasing after bees and scratching my plum tree

I wanted something pretty, can tolerate mostly shade + early morning sun, are perennial and little to non-toxic for cats. (Granted, he doesn’t typically ingest anything aside from grass)

Worried - VFT keeps eating insects!

I keep my plant outdoors, it was thriving! Until today when I went to check on it, I noticed just about every trap was closed! I only ever fed it once myself when I first got it. Im assuming its eating insects - would rain trigger it to close? Anyways Im worried this has added major stress and it could die soon.
