I need these two trees so so bad! They are so stunning and I’m a lemon whore/variegated plant fanatic so it’s literally heaven as a plant! Does anyone grow these? How do they do? Share pics please!!!! Rainbow Meyer sounds and looks amazing!

The roots rotted but I have new growths about 3 now I put her in new soil, with better drainage and it’s getting morning sun and daytime shade should I fertilize until frost or wait for it to go dormant?

Super clean delicate petals (white chiffon cuttings have been planted with her, I love the slight difference between them 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I wanted two blue hibiscus on each side of my raised bed.

Blue bird has very small compact habit I’m not sure if it’s just a very old variety and it’s not as updated and vigorous as the newer varieties, it opened more of a lavender lilac but you definitely can see the blue edges on it, super interesting I’ll definitely post a side by side of all my rose of Sharon’s this year once I get pics of everyone

I also have chateaux des Versailles (a gorgeous violet type)
I truly think blue chiffon is a blushy violet periwinkle type blue Not a true blue but it definitely looks blue in morning light not direct sun blue bird I’m still figuring out and am waiting for 2-3day petal changes since I find some rose of Sharon sun bleach and will fade throughout its cycle

blue chiffon is absolutely perfect in every way it’s truly one of the best rose of Sharon’s I’ve ever grown period.
Blue bird is probably a very slow grower if you want this one definitely get it in a larger size to begin with
Pollypetite is great for a compact situation and the blooms are so gorgeous

All my stupid mocheutos are still growing they take forever to bloom in the pnw but the Althea is just starting to take off and ofc the tropicals are here 🌺😵♥️😍

Sugar tip is the cultivar, I’ve wanted a variegated rose of Sharon for so long I just haven’t really found them in person that often so I caved and ordered my new child online
here my new child is with all her new hibiscus siblings, super cool group of variegated divas

Just waiting for blooms even tho rosemallows will take longer to bloom, ugh I wish we had hotter weather
