PT Helped More Than Chiropractic for My Cervicogenic Dizziness

I recovered mostly through PT, not chiropractic. What helped me most was starting slow with stretching/mobility and then gradually adding strengthening exercises for my neck, upper back, and shoulders.

At first I improved really fast, then plateaued for a while too. My PT adjusted the exercises and progress started again. Chin tucks, posture work, and thoracic mobility helped the most for me.

Biggest lesson: don’t overdo it on good days. Recovery was very up-and-down, but over time the bad days became less frequent.

I’ve been dealing with on-and-off back and hip discomfort for a while, and recently a chiropractor mentioned that one of my legs might be slightly shorter than the other.

Now I’m a bit confused because I also wear barefoot-style shoes and try to keep things natural, but they suggested a small heel lift to balance things out.

Has anyone actually tried this? I’m wondering if it helps long term or just creates more imbalance over time. Just trying to understand what actually works from real experience.
