This is the foyer in my new home. I want to get hardwood floors where the tile is (it’s also in the kitchen). The rest is the house has HW floors that’s in great condition but it has an orange color. I wanted to have them restained however it’s prob not going to match the foyer new floor. Is it better to have all new floors done (if that’s the case I have to wait because it’s not in the budget) or install new floors on the foyer and have the rest restained? Or do I just wait until I have the money to redo the whole floors? Thank you!

I’m buying a new home and this is the kitchen. I was going to paint the cabinets until I did more research and it seems not a good idea. The cabinets are in great shape. I just wanted something more modern. I realize that the floor might be the issue. The rest of the house has a dark HW floor so light flooring won’t work and It’s not in the budget to redo the whole floor.

Also changing tithe backsplash and hardware. ChatGPT gave me these two ideas (AI mocks) but I’m still not sure about the dark floors to match the rest of the house? I eventually wanted to get lighter floors throughout. Opinions? This is most likely our forever home. Thank you!
