Looking for 3 testers for scientific plotting software; rewarding with 3-months of free usage

Hey.

I’m the developer of SciPlot, an online interactive plot editor that allows for the creation of high-quality and complex figures with presets for leading publications (Nature, IEEE, Science, Elsevier, etc.). It also supports project and figure sharing for efficient teamwork. We are aiming for academic-grade quality, while still keeping the editing intuitive and interactive (drag-and-dropping, objects, etc.). Simply put, it is essentially "Overleaf for plots".

You can check it out at sciplot.org

I am looking for 3 testers (that preferably work/study in science or in technical fields) for brief testing. You would get 7 day testing access, use the tool (preferably in your real workflow), and I would ask you about 3 questions. As a reward, you get 3 months free access to the tool, completely for free, no obligations. It's in the browser so you don't have to download anything.

If you're interested, please send me a DM and we'll talk.

Thanks.

Braindump everything in your head and this app will organize it

Hey. Made this neat app. Basically, just speak everything on your mind and the app will organize your thoughts into a to-do list. You can make custom categories and export to Obsidian. This makes your head feel free and uncluttered, reducing the feeling of stress (according to David Allen from Getting Things Done, this is where most of our subjective stress comes from - unclosed loops sitting in our head).

Let me know what you think and features you'd like to see!

Skill Tree but for real life

Skill Tree

Made this app that allows you to make Skill Trees for anything in your life. As you complete it, you get XP and your character grows in traits (kinda like an RPG game). Trees are fully customizable. If you don't want to build them yourself, an AI builder can do it for you based on a prompt.

The point here is self-improvement in various domains of your life.

Tell me what you think.

I built an app that turns self-improvement into an RPG Skill Tree. Tell me what you think

Skill Tree

Hey. If you ever liked progressing through skill trees in RPG games and leveling up and gaining new abilities, well now you can do it in real life. Skill Tree allows you to create ANY CUSTOM tree that you want. You can use it for anything from fitness, health, cognition and focus, creativity, art skills & projects, social skills, investing or LITERALLY ANY OTHER personal development goal. If you don't feel like making trees, you can use the AI builder to do it for you. Although the title says "Skill", it works equally well for various types of projects that have steps.

As you progress, your character gets points across Health, Intelligence, Discipline, Creativity, Relationships, Charisma and Stewardship. It's a fun way to organize skills without overwhelming yourself.

Build your character (you!) and give me some feedback, if you will:

P.S: Dear iOS people, you can sign up for the waitlist. I'll be releasing the iOS version if folks show interest.

I built an app that doesn't let you quit your goals

Hey everyone,

I'm an physicist/data scientist that actually just wants to build cool web/mobile apps. Been working on a few good ideas the last month.

Just released "Don't Quit"!

The app is pretty simple but powerful: you state a long-term goal, why you want to do it and what good it will bring if you stick with it until the end. Then, once those hard and rainy days hit and you want to quit, and you press "I Quit", the app stops you right there and tells you why that's a bad idea. It also gives you motivational boosts. How many days you committed to a goal is shown to you every day on a home-screen widget that track your progress.

Been using it myself for an entrepreneurship goal.

Go and try it out if you feel like it could be useful!

(Coming to iOS in near future)
