AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition context menu icon showing as blank

Hey everyone, having a weird issue where the AMD Software entry in my Windows 11 right click context menu shows a blank/white page icon instead of the actual AMD icon. Already tried reinstalling Adrenalin Edition but the problem persists. Icon cache rebuild didn't help either.

Anyone know how to fix this?

My GPU was sitting perfectly fine before. I removed it to install an SSD, and when I tried to put it back it won't sit flush anymore. I hear the click when inserting but the DisplayPort ports are still misaligned with the case bracket opening. I've checked and there is nothing blocking the GPU.

Why this happens after a simple reinstall?

Hi everyone,

Hey everyone, I'm building a new PC in the next couple of days and I'm stressing about my UPS situation. I need real-world experiences, not just specs on paper.

The only UPS available for me right now is the PROLINK PRO901-ES 1KVA Online UPS.

Here are the specs of the UPS:

• 1KVA rating

• 900W max output

• Online double-conversion UPS

• Pure sine wave output

• Designed for surge protection + short backup time

My goal is NOT to run the PC during power cuts — only to safely shut down within 1–3 minutes.

💻 My PC build:

• ASUS ROG STRIX 27" 2K HDR10 USB-C XG27ACS 180HZ

• TUF GAMING B650E-PLUS WIFI MOTHERBOARD

• Ryzen 7 9800X3D

• Corsair RMe RM850X

• Asus Prime RTX 5070 TI 16GB

• CORSAIR VENGEANCE 2X 16GB DDR5 6000MHZ

• Samsung 990 Pro PCle®4.0 NVMe™ SSD 2TB

• Arctic Liquid Freezer III PRO 360 Black

Estimated gaming load: ~550–600W

Possible peak spikes: higher (GPU transient spikes)

❓ My question:

Will this UPS be able to handle my system just for:

• short backup (1–3 minutes)

• safe shutdown only

• NOT gaming during power outage

Or is it too close to the limit (900W) and likely to trip/shut down under load spikes?

I live in an area with occasional power cuts and voltage fluctuations, so hardware protection matters a lot to me.

I’ve heard mixed opinions.. Someone told me this UPS is dangerously close to its limit with my build and could shut off during GPU/CPU power spikes, causing a worse crash than a normal power cut. Others say 550-600W average load on a 900W UPS is fine with normal headroom.

Any real world experiences would really help. I'm on a tight budget 1500VA unit isn't possible right now.

What I need:

Real life experiences from people using similar setups:

• Has anyone run high end gaming PCs on a 1KVA UPS?

• Does it actually survive GPU spikes?

• Is it reliable enough just for shutdown safety?

Any practical insights would really help me decide
