Im thinking of adding more ram ( possibly a different brand since the ram i currently own costs 1k+)
maybe a new graphics card?

PLEASE LMK! i had my buddy help me build this back in 2023 and i would love to help it be better :)
Hey all, sharing my latest addition to my Watercooling setup. I have added a 560mmx58mm Radiator Push/Pull Tower to my setup.
Necessary, definitely not, but once you go watercooling you do things for your convenience and for fun. I love great temps and wanted my system to be quiet as well, so decided to add this tower and stay with same Lian Li fans and ecosystem to makes things easier. I reduced my fan speeds and I am now running them all 800 RPM, so very silent.
My temps have been great, after taking these picture ran my PC idle for 1hour and coolant temp has been stable at 22 - 22.5 degrees, only 0-0.5 degrees higher than ambient. CPU on idle 36-37, GPU 22. Load all depends on what you are testing.
Wanted to share in case anyone is interested in an alternate exterior cooling versus the MORA IV. If I ever go SFF I may move for a MORA, but that is years from now, I am all set until AM6 comes out and I need a new motherboard.
Below is my setup now:
CPU 9950X3D with EK AMD Ryzen Direct Die block, GPU 5090 FE with EK Velocity 3 Block, Samsung 9100 Pro 8TB and 4TB, Samsung 990 Pro 4TB for backup, Gskill 32GB CL2600 1.40V Ram Kit (overclocked to CL26 6400 2200), MSI MEG X870E Godlike, MSI MAG Ai1600TS (for GPU Safeguard), 17 Lian Li 140mm Fans, 1 Lian Li 120mm fan, Koolance QDCs, 2 x Aquacomputer High Flow Next, Lian Li O11 EVO XL Case with EK Reflection 2 Waterblock, 3X420x140mm EK Radiators, EK 120x30mm rear radiator, X560M EK exterior radiator, EK Momentum RAM Waterblock, Ton of EK Fittings/brackets and Liquidhaus 120/140mm bracket for exterior radiator, ~3.5-4 liters of Aquacomputer DP Ultra coolant running in my system.
P.S. I know I need to work on my cable management.
I found two gaming computers thrown away at my apartment I don’t know if there’s anything wrong with them, but I figure even if one component is broken other stuff will still be good. Just wonder what I should do first, obviously get power cords is #1
2 questions:
I am trying to build a quiet air cooling only pc (as quiet as can be with fans of course). Having a quiet pc is important to me, because the pc will be in a rather small room together with my girlfriends pc.
I am now stuck between 2 choices. Problem is that i like the design of the North XL case WAY more because of the wood. But multiple people has raised issues with the wooden paneling, as the wood creates noise/turbulence with the front fans? I would hate to spend a lot of money on noctua fans, only for the wooden paneling to be the big noise source. Its also better to house 3x120mm fans in the front, instead of the 3x140mm fans in the meshify 3 XL. But that would negatively impact the cooling/noise right?
I like the design of the meshify 3 XL way less. But the case gets praised so much for its airflow. That would fit a quieter build very well.
PC specs: 9800x3d, 4070 windforce oc or 5070 ti tuf, X870 Aorus Elite, KLevv cras 2x32gb ddr5 ram, noctua nh-d15 g2
So I’ve recently just got myself a PC that has a Intel 14th generation 14700f with a MSI Z790 plus Wi-Fi gaming motherboard a RTX 4060 TI with 16 GB of VRAM and 32 GB of DDR five and I think a terabyte of storage that Kingston SSDM.2 and I believe I have a 360mm AIO. I honestly don’t know if this is any good because last PC that I had I had a Ryzen 5 5500 with a RTX 3080. And I think for terabytes of storage.
I just genuinely haven’t been in the game for a long time and I sold that computer and got this new one. I just genuinely don’t know what’s good or bad anymore. I was just figuring I could ask for some help about my PC because I literally know nothing about it. I feel like a newborn baby. I got myself a 100 Hz 34 inch monitor. i’m not sure if that’s any good. I just figured that I would get it because all the people that I’ve talked to say that a big monitor is nice. I think I’m picking it up from the PC inspection place on Monday. I just genuinely don’t know what’s good and what’s bad I believe that I had DDR4 16 GB of memory on my last PC. I figured I would just say hello to this Reddit and ask if this is any good? I’m not trying to flex if it is a flex. I’m just trying to get information about it.
Thank you for reading my post. I don’t mean to be a nuisance. Have an amazing day. Thank you.
My budget is around 1400 euros. I live in italy. I was wondering maybe I should switch the motherboard for a 650 W 80+ Gold motherboard since my estimated wattage is so low. Any help is welcome!

First time building a PC, is the cable management really that bad? Any suggestions?
Hi guys,
I've been having a big issue with my pc. I'm fairly new to pc building and I can't seem to solve this issue. First things first, here is my setup:
- MSI B450 Tomahawk Max
- Ryzen 7 5700X
- Kingston A2000 M.2 nvme
- Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060XT
I wanted more storage and bought a Crucial MX500 SSD to install in one of my two left over SATA ports. At first i made the mistake of plugging in it in port 5 or 6, which should be disabled if the M.2 slot is occupied. To do this I had to remove the GPU aswell. After turning the pc back on it gave me a blue screen with recovery recommended with an errorcode: 0xc000000e.
After finding out the port is disabled i put it in sata 2 and it still wouldnt boot anymore. In my bios the bootmanager drive was now sata3, which contains a HDD for randomfiles. Ive tried CMOS resets, reseating of the M.2. The drive works in my brothers PC so that should not be the issue.
After a while i just decided to clone the A2000 onto the MX500 and use that as the bootdrive because i just feel the slot in my motherboard broke. I still can't really think of something that broke the slot, I mightve been a bit forcefull with removing the GPU against the board but nothing actually heavy or something. The cloning did not work either. It shows my drive in sata 3 but doesnt see it as a boot option.
I have absolutely no idea what to do anymore. Im thinking of buying a M.2 adapter and use it outside of the M.2 slot for now but I dont have time to get one and I want it to get to work ASAP.
Any help is appreciated!
EDIT: I did a bios update to the newest version aswell as a firmware update on the A2000.
I know the power supply is too much but it’s the same price as the 850watt one at €108 so I thought why not get the bigger one also for the Gpu i chose a 9060xt as the 9070 is €350 more expensive but let me know which other parts need to be changed
Not my first pc but my first pc I’ve built (last was a prebuilt) I think it came out great! My girlfriend helped me vinyl wrap the GPU white and cut out the chrome decals on a cricut machine!
hello!.i am a first time pc builder,i got decent grades on my 10th boards and i was able to convince my parents to buy me a desktop with a budget around 1 lakh rs but they are very scared to purchase from brands that are not very well known outside of the pc world i just wanted to make sure that brands like tlg gaming computech and prime agbg are infact legit so please if anyone has bought from these stores before can u comment your expirence. also please tell me if i have made any mistakes on picking the parts. cpu-7500f gpu-9060 xt 16gb ram-16gb (1x16) ddr5 ram 5200 mhz psu-650w 80 plus bronze msi mag cooler- ag400 by deepcool motherboard-gigabyte b650m gaming wifi micro atx am5 and a 500gb ssd
Is it worth upgrading from 9060xt 16gb to a 7900 xt 20gb? I am mostly playing games like PoE1/2, WoW, and Space Marine 2 in 1440p. I have a Ryzen 5500x3d And a 750W PSU.
Newegg is selling the refurbished 7900 xt for $683 CAD. I could sell my 9060 xt to mitigate some of the cost. Just wondering if it is even worth doing?
I’ve been using my water cooled i7 8700k and 3090 set up for a good few years at this point but my 8700k is showing its age so I have pulled the trigger and upgraded to a 7950x3d.
Most parts I got (besides case mono and water block) were second hand, refurbished or pre owned (praise eBay & cex).
This upgrade involved changing;
CPU
Psu 1200w
Mobo
New case
Adding more fans up to 16 in this build
An additional 360mm rad
32gb DDR5 Ram
Extra fittings
Fan hubs
Drgb hubs.
I’ve 3D printed shrouds to feed 3x140mm fans into my two 360mm rads and have 3x120 pulling out in the bottom too.
I was able to add my 240mm rad to the back of the case with the help of my dremel (not sure if this counts as external rad build).
I’ve then got 3 x 140mm exhaust out the front side.
It’s taken a lot of time to do but I’ve loved doing it.
I came up with this build I basically have a budget roughly between $3000 and $3500 although I do wanna stay closer towards $3000. Can I get some recommendations for this build and be provided with good parts to substitute or a whole another build to switch to. I want this build to be purely white and it is my second PC which I plan on building.

Existing build, just swapped my 7900 XT for a 5080 and did a fresh Win11 install. Since the swap, the system freezes randomly — Windows loading screen, even sitting idle at a command prompt in WinRE. One generic BSOD, missed the stop code.
Already done: chkdsk clean, sfc clean, XMP off (froze at 6400), VMD/CSM off, capped PCIe to Gen 4 for the stock riser.
Then I noticed the case was sitting on top of the open power cables. Plan is to reseat everything (12V-2x6, riser both ends, 24-pin, EPS, RAM) and reroute.
Does this sound like riser/cable stress, or should I be looking at MemTest86 / the PSU? Anyone running a 5080 on the stock A4-H2O riser?
