I just finished a build with a r5 5500 and rtx 3060ti but my cpu is maxxed out and i can't reach 144hz on high settings. I was wondering if ocing the cpu would fix the problem or if iv hit a solid brick wall on cache. I really don't wanna go through the hassle of buying a new cpu. I'm open to all ideas!
A month i setup a proxmox server using spare parts like a z270 i7 7700k and 2x8 2666 but since i don't have any hardware acceleration i was planning to pass down my rx 580 8GB to my server but i heard AMD gpu's work less easily than nvidia. Point is, i was wondering if my gpu could handle 8B ollama with 4bit quantization i wanna use my AI model so it can help me troubleshoot my machines ask coding questions general questions etc. Is it possible?
I was wondering if i should switch to jetson nano for my proxmox server. Here are my current specs: z270 2x8 2666 UDIMM i7 7700k. The main reason why i want to switch is because of power consumption size noise etc. I use my proxmox for jellyfin, smb, AI, minecraft servers. Ik it's probably a bad of idea since it has low storage and ram so maybe there's a better nvidia mini computer available or different solutions?
