My pc won't turn on, please help??
My ex father in law built me a pc for gaming, we aren't in contact anymore & it wont turn on, I have NO idea where to start with fixing it, have 0 experience building a pc. I'm sorry I don't know any information about it like specs
It was working absolutely fine, I moved house and since setting it up at my new place it wont turn on, no fan movements/ lights or anything.
I have attached photos of everything, the red eye always lights up so its powered? Nothing happened when I press the on button though.
After some googling I tried a few things:
- taken the ram in/ out, also tried moving one of them into a different setting (I'm sorry I don't know the correct language to use)
- I've taken the small disk battery out of the motherboard and clicked it back in
- I've checked all of the power connections are clipped in properly
- I've held down the power button whilst it's disconnected from power to drain it
- I've tried powering it up with nothing but the power cable connected
I'm really at a loss and miss my computer:( thank you so much if you can help, pls forgive my ignorance
