first time experience for OB check up
hello, f25 po. i was doing a lot of blood work last week and GP doctor requested for a TVS din. i got it and initial reading is i have PCOS but still refered me to OB to maybe officially diagnose it.
so i went to OB today and it was the worst check up i had experienced sa buong buhay ko. ewan ko siguro oa na kung oa pero hindi ako comfortable sakanya like from start to finish i just know na hindi na ako babalik sakanya for a follow up and mag change OB nalang or baka sa ENDO nalang ako pumunta.
the dr was asking all possible symptoms na naencounter ko and everytime na sasagot ako like parang ikkwento ko ung mga nararamdaman ko or naeexperience ko na symptoms na binabanggit niya, kinacut off niya ako. gusto niya pag may tinanong siya, straight to the point ung sagot dapat. it’s my first time and i don’t know exactly kung pano ko sasagutin yon without explaining this or that. i didnt had the chance to explain or share the things i observed. feeling ko na judge ako or nanliit ako haha and cant even defend myself. nangingilid na ung luha ko (mababawa luha) pero pinipigilan ko and gusto ko mag walk out in the middle of the consultation. didn’t even agree to check down there sa sobrang uncomf ko sakanya. by the end of the consultation, i was officially diagnosed ng PCOS and was advised to get additional tests to know what kind of meds i need to take.
dramas aside, just wanted to ask for your advice if mag stick ba ako sa OB or try ako magpa consult din sa Endocrinology?
