Hello, i recently went on a 3 day trip and when I got back, i noticed pineconing on my betta. He also appears to be bloated and pale and im worried this could be dropsy. what could’ve caused this? (Kanaplex and epsom salt will arrive tomorrow)

My tank is heavily planted but newly cycled and i saw some of my plants melted. I figured it could’ve triggered an ammonia spike.
