How do you layer different texture exports?
So to preface, I was modelling a character, I textured their various parts in seperate SPP files to make it easier and then exported texture files for all of them, then I brought the full character FBX into substance painter and tried to apply the texture files (with UV fill ofc), but one problem, all the other UV islands are full of garbage data so every layer completely overwrites every other one, I just want to have all the textures on the CHR so I can export everything as 1 set of textures, not sure what to do. If there are exports that dont produce garbage data in the unused UV islands I can re-export.
EDIT: I thought I found a method, as with dilation + transparent export setting I could use the screen layer style to cut out the black background and have the unnnecessary parts transparent finally allowing me to combine them together, but it doesnt work for roughness maps and my deadline is in like 5 hours fml 😭
