TRT from the VA has some weird dosing
Hey dudes,
Does anyone have any experience in receiving TRT from the VA (Veterans Affairs)? I started at Gameday 6 months ago, got adjusted to 140mg test cyp/week, labs look stellar. Didn't feel like paying out of pocket so I asked my VA doc if they would prescribe it, long story short they did (very surprising) however they apparently ONLY prescribe 200mg/2 weeks. Besides the obviously archaic dosing schedule, does anyone know if they can adjust the dose to reflect what I'm currently on? My VA urologist didn't really know, said he had legit zero TRT training in med school lol.
I planned on just splitting their 200mg/2 weeks into my normal Mon/Thurs injection, but going from 140mg to 100mg per week isn't ideal. For reference, I'm sitting at ~980 total T at the current dosage, and I don't see a huge reason to lower it. Any advice?
