Why, oh why????
Hello all! I love sketchbooks and do think they are necessary for the classroom. However, I have noticed that having a sketchbook AND loose sheets tend to create a really chaotic system. The kids only SOMETIMES glue them into their sketchbooks and the spiral bound books are basically destroyed midway through the year. We can't afford the regular bound books.
I was thinking of using my comb binder next year to have the kids basically build their sketchbooks as the year goes on, starting with a chipboard or cereal box cover and backing.
Has anyone done this and if so, any tips or warnings?
