I don't live in Makerfield.
But if my Constituency in Somerset was suddenly landed with a by-election deliberately imposed so that some "King of The South West" could get voted in as an MP to take over the Government, I'd frankly vote for anyone else on the basis of fair play.
This move by Labour smacks of desperate arrogance. I hope the people of Makerfield see it for what it is.
In a statement on Friday 15th May, our Prime Minister stated:
"We're in a fight for the soul of this country, and the Unite the Kingdom march this weekend is a stark reminder of exactly what we are up against.
"Its organisers are peddling hatred and division, plain and simple. We will block those coming into the UK who seek to incite hatred and violence.
"For anyone who sets out to wreak havoc on our streets, to intimidate or threaten anyone, you can expect to face the full force of the law."
There was no 'havoc wreaked' just as there was no-one threatened or intimidated.
No-one organised or 'peddled hatred or division'.
This from the man who has insisted multiple times that if he goes, the country will be "plunged into chaos".
I ask you, is this the sort of crappy rhetoric you're prepared to put up with?
Despite all the protestations,
The manipulations,
The false acclamations..
The numbers and facts speak for themselves.
In the UK, Reform has risen.
The nation has spoken and it will do again.
A storm is coming,
And that storm. Is Reform.
In all of our nation's extraordinary history, this day will be written down.
This day, when after hundreds of years of two-party politics,
The British people have said: "Enough is enough."
They have made an unmistakeable statement.
Labour is not good enough.
Conservative is not good enough.
It is time to bring our nation back, and Reform is the way it will be done.
