I don't care about the new ET WWII game

  1. ET games are grindy. Don't really want to spend years grinding it out when I feel like I have barely enough time to play all the other games I want to play while mostly living in the real world.
  2. By my count this will be ET's 8th or 9th WWII game in a genre that is frankly oversaturated. I would have been more excited about European War game focusing from the end of the Hundred Years War up to the Napoleonic Wars. Or a Bronze Age to Alexander the Great game.
  3. My guess is that most of this game's content could have been folded into WC4 and by developing this game WC4 development has been delayed. That thought is somewhat upsetting as I feel like WC4 could really be improved in major ways.

Possibilities of other IAP generals becoming trainable?

I know that we are all very excited about Wittmann becoming trainable except for F2P players and anyone who has a reasonable understanding of the actual history behind the man. He's kinda unimpressive IRL.

The thing that I'm curious about is whether ET is going to make all of just some of the other IAP become trainable through the Chronicles of Glory mode. I'm also worried about the meta shifting drastically as Wittmann shot up from irrelevant to the third best tanker in the game overnight. All we wanted was inspiration and we got an even better Guderian/Bock with extra critical damage and 100% critical attack.

Now think about Williams, all we want is artillery leader. Any more tweaking his perks could make him become an absolute beast. Or what about Abrams? Sub out his blitzkrieg for inspiration and cap out his maximum movement damage bonus at 100% instead of 50% and you have a much more powerful general.

The possibilities are endless. It's kinda a bummer that F2P players are gonna miss out on not just OP generals but also a little more baton intake. Hopefully to account for this, ET can keep adding really good F2P generals that are worth buying like Paulus and Balck in this most recent update. It would be especially nice to get a good F2P artillery and navy general. Infantry and Air would be okay and you can never have too many tankers, but I think F2P players could really benefit more from arty and navy gens that don't need training to be useable.

Anyways share your thoughts on what some of the IAP generals could get out of a training as well as your ideas for F2P metal gens.
