Regnum Siciliae, Freriae, et Attaniae, Anno Domini 1131

Regnum Siciliae, Freriae, et Attaniae, Anno Domini 1131

What if Sicily was geographically larger, but also I decided to convey that via a medieval map from 1131 during the reign of King Roger?

We celebrated Global Heritage Day at my school. Here are some of my students' work.

I work at Washington-Lincoln Advanced Elementary in West New Braunberg (Go Warblers!). My students really loved this assignment and learned a lot about their families.

Republic of Sardinia and Corsica

The Catalan-speaking country of Sardinia and Corsica - if the Aragonese monarchy was able to displace the native Sardinians and colonize the two islands more thoroughly.

Eumaia in the Classical Age, 400 BCE

What if the Eratosthenes Seamount was above water and formed a small island south of Cyprus? What if the Mycenean Greeks colonized it at the expense of the Phoenicians? If you wonder those things, then this map could be for you!

Eumaia is the Ancient Greek name for the island and derives from the Phoenician ^(YM'Y) which means "Island of Yam" or "Yammu".

What would a feudal DLC add or improve?

If/when we get a feudal DLC, what do you think will be added or improved?

I'm thinking maybe regional variations (pre-conquest Anglo-Saxon feudalism, Hispanic feudalism vs. Frankish)

Maybe the addition of allodial lands that could function as estates for feudal players.

What other ideas exist for feudal DLC?

The County of Solsona, AD 1070 (From Jenifer F. Bergueda's 1975 book "History of Central Catalonia, 801-1209")

Found this rare book on eBay nabbed it! The map in the book is in rough shape but I recreated it the best I could!

(note: this is a map depicting the domain of a fictional noblewoman in a book I'm writing and editing)
