I finally broke through my mental block of how to nest properly!
This may feel very small to most people but i am so proud of myself! a year ago, i started learning to code and i did great up until i had to learn about properly nesting. For some reason my brain just could not compute it properly. Fast forward to yesterday, I figured why not pick it back up. I watched youtube tutorials for the past 2 days just trying to catch up on what i remembered and start back at nesting tags… well after searching for so long, Iman Musa was able to finally get it to click for me! i was at work at the time and i just kept on repeating it in my head until i got home and when i got home i was able to
- Built a 4-page HTML website with working navigation without a video and only asking Claude at the very end when i had closed my html tags to go over my code and give me any notes.
2.Learned semantic HTML structure
3.Set up Git and GitHub for the first time - Used the terminal to configure version control
- Created a custom VS Code snippet to speed up my workflow
- Pushed my first repository to GitHub
I feel good and i can’t wait to learn more! small wins but they stack up!
