Flying a drone over my own property in England to check damage to my roof and guttering.
I've just bought a drone that has the ability to give me a live feed when flying it.
I need my guttering and roof looking at and possibly repairing, the bit of the roof/guttering I need to check, is in an extremely awkward position that isn't easily accessible for a long ladder.
- it's a possible scaffolding job too due to how bloody annoying it is to get up there.
What are the legalities of me flying my own drone up over my own house, to check what I need to check, without potentially encroaching on any of my neighbours privacy?
It'll literally be up there maybe 10-20 mins tops. - I will also have to record it too.
This has to be done with some urgency as I'm pretty sure there's a bit of weather damage, that I don't want for it to get worse.
Do I have legally notify my neighbours that I'm doing this fly over?
Thanks.
