Looking to get clarification. I am a dual citizen of the US and Canada, living in the United States. I have a Canadian bank account that existed before I moved to the US. I have a Wise account set up just to exchange currency from the Canadian Bank and transfer it to the bank in the US. I have to report any bank accounts outside the United States on my tax returns. If I just take the money from Canada, send it to Wise, get it exchanged by them and deposited in my US Account, do I even have a Wise account? I don't have any currency stored with Wise, and I only use it to exchange funds. I just have a User Log in and don't see anywhere where I would have a Wise bank account number to report. Is this correct?
