I recently interviewed at KPMG for an audit intern position 10 days ago. Initially the interview was in-person however since I was doing a co-op at the moment I had to change it to virtual and I appreciated how accomodating the recruiters were.
I'm seeing a lot of people getting offers 1-2 days after the interview and from what I know they interviewed in person. I felt like my interview went pretty well despite it being virtual and I was able to have a nice conversation with both the senior manager and partner.
I'd like to know if there was anyone that also interviewed virtually and received an offer mainly for the Toronto/Vaughan offices and if so, how long it took to hear back. Was I at a disadvantage interviewing virtually? In addition, if I didn't get a call 1-2 days after the interview should I assume I was not selected?
I'd appreciate any insights.
