Caught this view at golden hour and I still cant believe places like this actually exist

I was standing at the edge of a rocky cliff looking down at this glacial lake and I genuinely had to stop and just breathe for a second. The water is this unreal milky turquoise color and there were actual chunks of ice floating on the surface. Like small icebergs just sitting there like it was nothing.

And then the light hit the peaks behind it and everything turned gold. I don't know how to explain it to someone who hasn't seen it in person but it felt like the whole mountain range was on fire in the best possible way. Deep shadows cutting through the valleys while the ridges just glowed.

I have hundreds of photos and videos from this trip and none of them fully capture what it actually felt like to be standing there. The scale of it is just something your brain cant process through a screen.

If you haven't been to Glacier yet please just go. Clear your schedule, book the trip, deal with the logistics later. Some things you just have to see before they change.
