Favorite dairy free party appetizer?

We are going to a July 4th party this weekend and I want to make an appetizer that my son (who is DF) can have. Preferably a finger food and not a dip. I’d love any and all suggestions!

Please talk me out of baby no. 3.

As someone who formally didn’t even want kids, I find myself in the very odd position of wanting a third baby. I’m a SAHM to two boys under the age of 5, so life is a lot right now.

A third baby changes a lot for our family: we don’t have a car that can fit three kids in the back so we’d have to get a different one; that’s another college fund to save for; we already got rid of all of our baby things so that’s a lot to repurchase. I’d also go back to work when the baby goes to kindergarten but even if I got pregnant next year, it would be a while until we’d be back to a 2 income household.

I’m also TERRIFIED that we’d somehow end up with twins. I cannot, cannot, cannot handle 2 newborns at once. No way.

And also the fact that I like our family dynamic right now. Two parents, two kids. I feel like we’ve struck a decent balance. And I’m finally starting to feel more like myself.

So even though I know that it’s probably not a good idea, myself wanting another baby. Talk me out of it!!
