[SCAM ALERT] Digeto’s "GTM Sales Fellowship" by Gregor Aschoff & Deepak Peschard is a trap for free labor. 10 of us worked 3 unpaid months selling clients' products globally under the false promise of a permanent job, only to be locked out last week.
TL;DR: Digeto, a French-Indian company, promised a 3-month "fellowship" with a guaranteed permanent role or a 6-month contract at the end. Instead, our cohort of 10 was used as unpaid labor to sell their clients' products globally. After 3 months, they offered us nothing and quietly removed us from their company workspace.
Hey Reddit, I need to vent and hopefully save someone else from making the exact same mistake I did.
In January 2026, I was accepted into what was pitched as a "GTM Sales Fellowship Program" run by a company called Digeto. The program was headed by Gregor Aschoff and Deepak Peschard and they are the founders of the company. At the time, it sounded like an incredible opportunity to break into global sales.
Their Pitch
Here is exactly how they sold it to us:
- It was a 3-month cohort-based fellowship (there were about 10 of us in my group).
- The goal was to gain hands-on, global Go-To-Market (GTM) sales experience.
- The "catch" was that we had to work for the duration of the fellowship, setting up meetings with potential buyers and directly selling products and services for Digeto’s existing clients.
- The Promise: At the end of the 3 months, successful fellows would be rewarded with either a permanent role or a 6-month paid contract.
The Reality
For three months, the 10 of us grinded. We generated leads, set up meetings, and basically acted as a free, fully functioning outsourced global sales team for Digeto. We were genuinely building pipeline and moving products for their clients. We put in the hours because the light at the end of the tunnel was a guaranteed job offer.
Well, the 3 months just ended. Want to guess what happened?
None of us got an offer. No permanent role. No 6-month contract. Nothing.
Instead of sitting us down to explain, or giving us the professional feedback they promised, they revoked our access and abruptly removed all of us from the company workspace.
The Takeaway
They are using the word "fellowship" as a disguise for unpaid labor. They get a free, disposable sales team every quarter to service their clients, and when the time is up, they kick you to the curb and bring in the next batch of hopefuls to repeat the cycle.
If you see a posting for a Digeto GTM Sales Fellowship, or get approached by Gregor Aschoff or Deepak Peschard - runnnnn, run fast and far. Don't work for free, and don't fall for the fake promise of a job at the end. Your time and labor are worth more than this.
Has anyone else dealt with these guys or experienced something similar with other "fellowships"? Any advice on if there is anything we can do about this?
