Greetings from Lincoln Nerd Fest
Lincoln Nerd Fest is this weekend at the Sandhills Global Event Center.
I'm set up to run Star Trek Adventures today, and Daggerheart tomorrow. There's card slingers from magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, pokemon, a few others. Inner Circle Games has some unique puzzle like games.
Nebraska esports is set up with some tech games.
Vendors for Funko pop, Star wars, artist, lego booth, Ghostbusters. A few card shop and comic shop vendors. Lots of fun stuff to do here. I've seen cosplayers and families having a grand time.
Next to where in set up there is a group playing a home brew pokemon tabletop RPG. Shadowdark will be played later. A card game called command capture: Rome vs Europe is being demoed. A band playing super mario songs can be heard echoing through the building.
I've seen a few local celebrities so far. The couple from Our Family Plays Games from Omaha are walking around.
No outside food or drink but they have vending machines for drinks, a coffee vendor (maybe more I've just seen the one so far), and a cafeteria like area for food.
