I’m not a Patreon swirly so someone tell me what Claudia had to say about the Lindsay Clancy trial? I’m sure it’s going to irritate me 😂

My 8 year old has a large cavity (no pain yet though) in a molar. I was hoping we could extract the tooth since he’s at that age where he’s losing teeth quickly anyway and we wouldn’t have to worry about it. Turns out he doesn’t have an adult tooth underneath so we basically have to treat this tooth as if it’s an adult tooth. Dentist wants to do a pulpotomy. My 8 year old had a pulpotomy and a silver crown about 3 years (I swear we brush, floss, and eat healthy so wtf 😭) ago and that also needs to be extracted due to inflammation possibly infection that could happen. If we do that to this other tooth how do I know it will last up until he’s old enough for an implant (so like 10+ years?!). Should I just extract the tooth and hope the space can be closed with lots of orthodontic work? Another dentist I spoke to said he thinks we should save the tooth for as long as we can, just hope the pulpotomy lasts long enough. I’m taking him to an orthodontist consult tomorrow to see what they think. What would you do?
