Just had my renewal quote through for my 6 year old GSD - it has gone up from £1418 to £1726

It’s a complete joke no claims at all - every year it has gone up at least 10% and all they say is risk factors. I feel ripped off when I got her it was £400 a year which is reasonable. The reason for the charge treatments have got more sophisticated, vets bills have gone up etc…

No wonder you see dog rescues full - people can’t afford a dog due to this.

The companies know that we will pay anything to make sure that we are covered.

Surely something needs to happen where they can’t keep on getting away with these exorbitant increases year on year. Pretty soon pet ownership will be for a select few due to the cost
