Is this off-brand AC Adapter DC Coupler kit legit?

I plan to start using my EOS Rebel SL3 as a high-quality webcam for long recording sessions, but don't want to rely on a charge nor kill my batteries life, so I looked into options that allow me to use wall socket power in place of my battery and arrived at AC Adapter and DC Coupler kits.

The official Canon kit is $150. Pretty pricey for what is just a glorified power cable. I found this off-brand one on Amazon for $22 and it seems to be compatible with my DSLR and has multiple safety certifications.

I'd like to know what you guys think and whether it's trustworthy. Have you bought one of these off-brands before? The money I could save would be significant, but the small possibility that it damages my camera is what brings me here. Thoughts?

It took a long time before I started accepting the fact that I haven't found a job not because I'm not doing something right, but rather, because the job market (as many know) is just horrible for most people without an in.

Graduating in 2020 with a BSc in CIT in what is practically a Midwestern tech desert, I got pushed to go into tech because of the promise of finding easy reliable work and big pay, something I could use to have a stable financial situation while pursuing my real interests. As the last 5-6 years have shown though.. tech hasn't exactly been a great field to be in with entry-level experience. I'm 28 now and it feels like I've lost a lot of time and money for nothing.

I'd love to still find some use with my degree and the little experience I do have, and I've looked a lot in different fields of interest like software, systems administration, and game development, but if I can't find a job after all this time, then I don't want to be stuck working retail in the mean time..

What have some of you switched to? What have you tried?

I must have been of the minority that quite literally made job hunting a career for a long stretch of their post-graduation time, and I feel as though I've tried almost everything short of bribing a hiring manager.
