How do I tell how old my battery is?

My 2015 LEAF has 62,764 miles, with 11/12 battery health bars remaining. LEAFSpy reports 80.6% battery health. I can't tell if the battery was ever replaced as I am not the first owner of this LEAF and I am receiving conflicting reports online. The battery serial number is 230SM114A1000074. 151 QCs and 3,327 L1/2 charges. I am trying to figure out if the pack is the original one from the factory or if it is a newer one like a 40kWh pack limited to 24kWh. The car reports about 80 miles of range at 3.6 miles/kWh at 100% charge, which the 2015 LEAF could do when it was BRAND NEW, but I'm not sure if it can do that after supposedly degrading 19.4%. Hx is 63.73%.

Best fuse spots to tap for a dashcam?

I just purchased a 2015 Nissan LEAF SL (thanks to all who helped me with getting my first LEAF), and I made it an absolute priority to have a 2-channel dashcam from day one. Which fuses in the fuse box are the best to tap for battery (constant) power, and which ones are the best to tap for accessory power (only on when the car is on)?

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all having a great week. I’m looking for some help shipping a 2015 Nissan LEAF from Illinois up to Wisconsin sometime in the next 30 days.

I’m looking for an honest, straightforward out-of-pocket price so I can get everything planned out nicely.

Here are the details for the route:

Origin Zip: Springfield, IL (62702)

Destination Zip: 53593

Vehicle: 2015 Nissan Leaf SL

Condition: Fully operable (runs and drives perfectly)

Trailer Type: Open carrier is completely fine!

Timeline: Once the pre-purchase inspection is complete, I can let you know when to pick it up.

If you have availability on this route, please feel free to leave a comment below or send me a DM with your details and pricing. I really appreciate your time and help with this!

Thanks so much in advance, and I look forward to working with you!

Buying a Bolt in the near future

I’m going to be buying my first car at the end of summer and I am dead set on the Bolt. I like how the 2022-2023 models look and I like 2LT trim. I am curious if I can get a higher-mileage one for $12,000 or less as there could be many of them coming off of 3 and 4 year leases. Thoughts?

Buying my first LEAF!

I’m looking to buy my first used Nissan Leaf. My goal is to find a 2016-2017 SL trim (I really want the leather interior and LED headlights) for around $6,000 to $7,000 cash. Is that a realistic goal? Is there anyone that could help me out with buying one?
