We found a vendor at our 40th anniversary show and sale who had 2 custom made DC Republic switchers. Everyone who sees them immediately places them in Gadsden. We found a DCC frame we could shell swap and now we have prototype switchers for the plant yard.
Our still unfinished Broad Street has installed parking meters to start some revenue for street markings and signals…the depth of detail continues!

Our beautiful photorealistic backdrop wraps around behind our stepped work shelf. The bottom two are mine, cars there need work. The cars above are considered layout worthy if members need a longer train or to fill in the 12 club trains that are parked in sidings while 6 run. This past Monday we finally added some track to increase security.
A few visitors from the NMRA Convention in Chattanooga visited us today…We were era specific today.

Our traveling layout is more freelance than its big brother. 3 loops and a few branches travel 12x24 feet through the rural and urban modules. Every road and era accepted. We are set up this week at the Hardin Center in Gadsden and Saturday it should be fully operating all day!
