I use CarPlay in our 2024 Venza XLE Nightshade combined with the iOS app named BookPlayer. With this app, I can copy various non-music audio files into the app via iCloud. For me, this is a simple answer to address for example, the entire 380 mp3 library of a Patreon podcast I support.

Aside from podcasts, I have many audio files of vintage baseball radio recordings through archive.org I simply copy the downloaded files to an iCloud folder then direct BookPlayer to copy those files into a created folder inside of BookPlayer.

I am not associated in anyway with this app. I’m just sharing a tip for adding non-Spotify and/or non-Apple Podcast audio into your Venza CarPlay experience.
