Wisdom Teeth Recovery
Hey! I had my wisdom teeth taken out on the 6th. About a week after recovery, I will admit I did prod a finger in my mouth. My gums felt painful in a spot that wasn’t my wisdom teeth, so I thought maybe something got lodged in there? Anyway, it caused some bleeding and now the gums by my molars have been in nonstop pain since. Over the counter medicine doesn’t work nor does this oral cream I got. It’s been days now. The gums also look like this. I know it’s not the best photo, but basically it looks cut with this reddish lumpier gums that look different than my usual pink smooth gums (hands washed with antibacterial soap before taken the photo).
Did something occur during the wisdom teeth removal? Is this a normal healing process and I can just “wait it out” or should I go back to the oral surgeon?
