bilt blue card to solely pay rent

hello,

im still new to building credit and what not. I currently have one credit line (discover it student credit). im interested in the bilt blue card but to only use it to pay rent. I like the fee-free privilege.

from what I gathered so far, it doesn’t have too many benefits anymore (unless you spend a lot on non-housing purchases) because of the change that happened earlier this year. while I’m sad I won’t get to experience that, I was wondering:

- is there any negatives to only use the bilt blue card to pay rent?

- what benefits (if any) would I possibly receive if I used it only to pay rent?

- if not this version of this bilt card, which one would you pick and why?

im interested in other cards to earn travel points and other rewards. my goal is to organize my credit cards and use each card in specific categories to reap as much benefits as possible. I appreciate the advice in advance!
