I’m not even a big Dess is Human believer but the shoes don’t make any sense to me. How do you modify converse to fit hooves? Even if there was something to fill the empty space, I couldn’t imagine they would be comfortable. Why in a world where monsters and humans have coexisted would monsters modify human shoes instead of having their own custom ones? Aren’t there like monster cobblers or something that would make original shoes that suit the monsters’ foot? I could accept the fashion argument but ice skates??? How is she balancing in those with hooves even modified? We know Noelle has custom shoes from chapter 2 but we never see any of the Holidays wearing them. Ik the Holidays are rich but that would be an insane amount of custom shoes to order for Dess. Also the “shoes fit for hooves” are in a box with Asriel’s retainers which makes it possible that they weren’t hers. (they’re probably Noelle’s.) We don’t even know what they look like or if they resemble human shoes. I’m sorry for rambling but the shoes really make no sense to me. Dess feet theory?
