Upgrading from Blu-Ray to 4K?

Have you ever upgraded any film in your collection from Blu-Ray to 4k?

What was the film? What made you pull the trigger and decide to upgrade? And was it as good as you hoped?

Are any films actually better on Blu-Ray than on 4k?

Part of the reason I ask is that Interstellar, Blade Runner 2049 and Pacific Rim are supposed to be excellent on 4k, but I already own them on Blu-Ray. Just wondering if it's worth upgrading...

Which heats your house more? Convection or radiation?

When your house heats up in hot weather, how much is due to convection from warm air coming into the room? And how much is due to radiation from the sun heating up the surfaces in the room, which then radiate back into the room itself?

Which would feel hotter: Windows open, curtains shut, or curtains open, windows shut? Is it always best to have windows AND curtains shut when it's hotter outside than inside?

My next question is, when is the best time to open the windows? Is it as soon as the outside temperature is the same as the inside? Or could it be later on, when the outside temperature is a few degrees lower? The bigger the difference, the faster the heat should move from the inside to the outside after all.

I'd welcome everyone's thoughts on this!
