Insoles For 12 Hour Shifts
Hello,
This may be a little random but I do work 3x12 graveyards and I frequently swap insoles to try and get one that fits me. My previous ones were Copper Compression brand, I got the perfect ones for my foot shape but they flattened out in 2 months which got ridiculously painful. I think those were almost $60, utterly ridiculous.
Back to Dr. Scholl's. These are the specific ones I use, the Work series with the extended gel. These are one-type-fits-most, I'm almost annoyed that they're the ones that work best for me.
I'm on my feet for 11 hours, mostly standing at CNC machines, lifting and transporting big heavy parts, getting in weird positions, etc. I weigh 195lbs but I frequently lift 80+ lbs.
Feet are incredibly subjective but in case any of you have something that could fit me better, I have a low arch on both feet (borderline flat, but low arch on inner sides), cup support is very important because my right ankle is less stable, and I have a lot of ball area.
