Erasmus in Rome

Hi everyone,

I recently got accepted for an Erasmus semester in Rome and I’m considering studying at Università Niccolò Cusano (Unicusano). I’m feeling excited but also a bit unsure, so I wanted to ask people who have done Erasmus in Rome or studied there:

- How was your overall experience living in Rome as an Erasmus/international student?

- Did you enjoy it and would you recommend going?

- How did you find accommodation? Was it difficult to find a good place?

- Which neighborhoods did you stay in, and which areas would you recommend for students?

- If anyone studied at Unicusano specifically, what was the university like socially and academically?

- Was it easy to meet people and make friends, especially if you were coming alone?

- How expensive did you find daily life (housing, transport, food)?

- Did you feel safe living there, especially compared to smaller cities?

I’m currently trying to decide whether to go, so hearing honest experiences — good or bad — would really help. Thanks a lot!
