Got a cheap snes in “works but buzzes” condition a while back. I think the buzz is just from the cheap power supply, but haven’t dug into that. However, the shell was totally cooked, so I recently put it in a new shell. After the reshell, the right channel is totally shot, just garbled approximations of the bass. I opened it up and replaced the capacitors in the sound board, reflowed the connector on the sound unit and main board, and did the audio balance mod for good measure, but no change. Any thoughts on the issue? I’m about to just order a replacement but would prefer to save it if possible.
