My soon to be ex husband wants his young girlfriend around our kids. What do I do?
For context my 48f husband or ex the divorce isn’t through yet 56m wants to let the girl he left me for be in our children's lives, she’s 20. Our oldest is 17 and youngest is 6. We have four kids
At first when he moved in with her he promised he wont rush anything and plans to take it all slowly. I was so heartbroken and confused I basically was just agreeing to anything he said so I don’t have to see him.
well now, 2 months later, he’s changed his mind or as he put it his girlfriend wants to meet them. He said if I disagree he’ll make it harder for me to see them. So next week they’ll be spending their weekend with their dad and her my oldest two refuse at least which makes It easier but I was more worried about the youngest two anyway.
Am I crazy for worrying? should I take this to court? I’m just not sure what to do I’ve been so depressed lately that it’s been making it even more difficult, I sort of figured he was cheating on me last year he had started to become a different man and I wanted to confront him but I was too scared to lose him, I never anticipated this, guess I should’ve.
