greetings!! I am not Muslim myself, but I live in Minnesota where there are obviously a lot of Muslims. In my area it’s majority white/christian though I’ve noticed an uptick in Muslim families moving into the area (I’m indifferent to this, it’s fine , I have no issues with Muslims). But one thing I’ve always been curious about is if you guys feel American? or do you feel more aligned to your home country…or parents/grandparents home country? do you feel any pride in being American? (that’s okay if not, I’m just curious in all honestly because I feel like it can be hard to get a read on some of yall! I say that with love!)

this isn’t Walter Mondale‘s DFL anymore. the DFL more and more consists of people who have spent their entire careers in political ecosystems. (activism, organizing, etc). they don’t actually understand the bipartisanship that governing requires, the necessity of making deals and agreements for the greater good. they scream about decorum, but last night during their sit in, Aisha Gomez told republicans to “go f*cking shoot yourself” because reps won’t entertain this unconstitutional gun control bill. they wont actually pass any legislation that holds criminals accountable. remember they would and will take everything from you if given a chance.
