What is going on with UMN? Hardly anyone tailgating and the games aren’t packed anymore???

did anyone else notice how there hardly any tailgating yesterday ? especially for a game against an SEC school? I feel Ike 10 years ago the games were popping on, everyone was tailgating and partying. what is going on?

Mass makes my soul feel at peace and I can’t pinpoint why

I’m a Protestant, and starting attending mass a few months ago, and I start OCIA soon. I’ve been a serious church-goer for many years now; but there’s something about mass that is just peaceful for my soul. i have attended many Protestant churches churches in my life and none of them have ever left my feeling fulfilled in the way mass does. From the first time ever I attended a mass, its like something clicked

The more I attend mass as a Protestant…

the more I can’t believe that half of the Christian world truly believes Catholics don’t worship Jesus and that they worship Mary. I mean the entire Mass is literally about Jesus being our savior. every part of it! Its just crazy.

Does the surge in converts make you feel hopeful?

as many of you have maybe seen… I am in the process of converting to Catholicism… Born and bred Lutheran. I was curious about the statistics for my archdiocese… And I looked it up and these are the numbers, and Google says it’s approximately the 22nd largest archdiocese in the US. This seems quite good, no? Do you feel hopefully? Do you feel like this is a blip? Lutheranism is dying dramatically right now so it’s cool to see a surge for Catholics 🤣
