The room is on the second floor. It is the largest bedroom, with great light, built-in bookshelves and a big closet. Spacious kitchen, common areas are fully furnished, laundry in basement. Currently 2 housemates and 2 cats. The 2 cats cannot live with other cats, but the housemate with the cats is moving, and the lease is open to other animals.

Another smaller room is opening in the same house for $550, likely soon / within the following month.

The remaining housemate is an artist with a basement studio, relatively chill, somewhat social, but also keeps to themself.

Located in Waverly, close to a shopping center, Hopkins, and public transit lines. About 15 minutes' drive from downtown.

Requirements to know: 3x income in gross rent (so, must make $2145 before taxes), credit score 680, cosigners not accepted

Hi,

I have an 18 inch x 15 inch x 7 inch frozen block of chicken from a food pantry.

Would like to defrost it enough to break into portions. And potentially re-freeze some to keep preserving it longer.

My partner and I were considering defrosting it in a baby bathtub or similar sized container, to the point that we can break it apart.

Any other ideas?

EDITED TO ADD: I do know how to defrost chicken and typically do it in the fridge.

It's just such a large quantity, and it is not portioned out -- it's just one huge frozen block of meat. So I really would ideally like to have some way to portion it out, and give some to other people, but not have to cook so much of it right away.

If this is impossible, then i'm also down to figure out how to cook a lot of chicken at once, or find a lot of people who would take some chicken.
