Hey everyone! I’m considering a 40 breeder tanganyikan tank. This would be my first time with tangs, but not at all African cichlids. I’ve kinda found some mixed advice, but I’m roughly planning to do a multifasciatus colony, and a paracyprichromis group (apparently 40 breeders aren’t long enough for cyprichromis?) other than that, I’ve been looking for a rock dweller. I’ve had my eye on some of the altolamprologus compressiceps varieties, but would these be a) too large and b) too predatory? Specifically worried about the multis, but I also would like the papacyps to occasionally have fry survive. Many thanks!

Hey mold lovers!
I recently started trying to set up a culture of this slime mold for my partner, but so far every time I try to awaken the slime mold, nothing happens. I have been using Petri dishes and moistened paper towel, and I usually don’t see the sclerotia do anything before another mold attempts to colonize it. Any tips?
