I’ve been feeding and trying to befriend a pair of crows at a park for about a month now!
I usually feed them walnuts and unshelled peanuts, I would throw them a few meters away and they’d pick them up and fly off to eat them elsewhere.
Today, I offered them a boiled eggs for a change, and they were loving it! I was so shocked when the bolder crow came as close as a meter without spooking.
Egg definitely seems to be a new favourite treat, although it’s kinda funny and cute at the same time that they’re so picky about the yolk. I’m wondering if it’s due to the color, the texture or maybe even the taste:)
I’ve got a few questions: Do you have any recommendations as to what else they might enjoy? And one thing I’ve noticed is that sometimes, their beaks are open as if they’re panting, is that any reason for concern?
