Is it okay for my girlfriend to break a promise, my girlfriend (19F) made a promise to me (19m) is this okay?
for some context me and my girlfriend have been dating for 5 months now and we go to the same colleg. She has a ex that is friends with some of her friends so while we meet up for lunch sometimes he’s there. In her past relationship her and her ex really didn’t do anythin. they never hung out one on one and held hands once and she had her fingers straight the whole time. I have told her I’m kind of uncomfortable with him being around her to be with her friends and she promised to not talk to him and really acknowlage him. She’s done really well and doesn’t talk to him at all but today he left the table and gave 3 people at my table a fist bump. me the person to my right and my girlfrien. After this interaction I talked with my gf one on one and she was so sorry it brought her to tears and she genuinely felt sorry I feel like but it doesn’t take away from the fact she broke a promis. I’m pretty confused and a little uncomfortable still and I want to know if I’m over thinking and being insecure. what are your thoughts on this?
