How Do I Make A Content Calendar?
I just jumped to the last interview for a company as a social media manager, and they mentioned that they wanted me to make a mock content calendar. The only issue is, i’ve never made one before.
They want someone who can identify what kind of content goes to specific social media platforms, they are using Instagram (their main focus), Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and X (Twitter).
The company is different due to regulations they have to follow. They cannot promote the sale of what they are selling (I don’t know if I should reveal but think guns, marijuana, alcohol, nicotine, etc) so they can’t even have the link in their bio to their shop.
Most posts on Instagram work with influencers, and they tell influencers to be themselves and to just post naturally so the content that influencers usually come up with are funny reels, so I don’t know where that would lie in the content pillar category.
How should I start? How should I identify what content goes where, not just talking about ‘short form video’ ‘long form video’ etc, but how should I be more specific and specify what content goes where. Most importantly, how do I get that information into a content calendar?
