Feedback on iron

Hi Champions,

It is the first time i bought such small "Russell Hobbs Steam Iron [830W, 10g Variable Steam] Travel Iron". I want something light weight for elderly.

In ancient times, we actually used this one - "National Dry Iron" which is heavy.

The question is travel iron has a steel base but most modern irons have this designed textured surface on base (e.g. Philips 8000 Series DST8040/30 | Coolblue | Irons)

I'm curious if I'm doing the right thing by buying the travel iron or will its stainless steel base (base is steel, very reflective and shiny), is going to stick to clothes. They usually use iron at high heat though.

Could you share a feedback if technology has improved or was Russel Hobs designing this for cheap?
